I’m an artist working from Cape Town, South Africa.
I’m an impatient artist. I want the paint on the canvas as soon as possible and it’s this that influences how I paint. I try to capture the essence of the subject and recreate the mood of a time or place on the painting. I want to express, through art, the feelings or emotions connected with a thing or a place.
My paintings are generally concerned with everyday scenes from life, and I try to depict them in a way that conveys mood in the best way possible, playing with vibrant colours and perspectives.
